Our Department’s Significant Achievement at TEKNOFEST

At the ISIF Patent Fair organized as part of TEKNOFEST, the Department of Computer Engineering at Fırat University received two awards.

The patent entitled “Decision Support System for the Identification of Gas Species in the Living Uterus Using Sensor Technology,” of which Assoc. Prof. Dr. Güngör Yıldırım and our retired faculty member Prof. Dr. Yetkin Tatar are among the inventors, was awarded the silver medal.

The patent entitled “Emulator for Operating Classical Computers as Quantum Computers,” of which Prof. Dr. Mehmet Karaköse and Research Assistant Niyazi Furkan Bar are among the inventors, was awarded the bronze medal.
