The Teaching Committee undertakes activities aimed at updating the Computer Engineering curriculum in accordance with national and international academic standards, developing course syllabi, enhancing student success, and continuously improving the teaching and learning processes.
Review the course syllabi for the department's undergraduate and graduate programs, prepare proposals for updates, and ensure the tracking of the introduction of new courses or the removal of existing ones. Ensure that the content is updated in accordance with the current developments in the Computer Engineering discipline.
At the beginning of each semester, review the course syllabi prepared by academic staff, ensure they align with the Bologna Process, and archive them for quality assurance purposes in areas such as software engineering, artificial intelligence, and networks.
Provide suggestions for improving the educational program based on the outcomes of alumni and employer surveys, student feedback, and accreditation processes.
Program outcomes are reviewed each semester, and the use of evaluation methods that align with these outcomes is supported.
Monitor the academic advising process, ensuring that necessary information and guidance are provided to academic advisors.
Prepare necessary educational data, analyses, and reports for quality assessment and accreditation activities such as MÜDEK and similar processes.
Contribute to the planning of course matching processes for incoming and outgoing students in exchange programs (e.g., Erasmus, Mevlana) based on the department’s course catalog and content.
Prepare and present periodic or annual reports on the activities conducted to the department council.
