This committee operates to promote the national and international mobility of students and academic staff within the department through the Erasmus, Mevlana, and Farabi exchange programs, manage the application and acceptance processes, and ensure the academic compatibility of the exchange processes.
Regularly monitor the application deadlines, procedures, and quota information for the exchange programs and announce them within the department.
Organize informational meetings to encourage active participation of departmental students and academic staff in these programs.
Collect and evaluate the application documents of students applying for the Erasmus, Mevlana, and Farabi programs.
Ensure transparent procedures for scoring, ranking, and placement.
Evaluate the equivalency of the courses that students will take domestically or abroad with the department’s curriculum.
Prepare and process the Learning Agreements (Erasmus/Mevlana) or Study Protocols (Farabi) for approval.
Support the course selection, advisor assignment, and academic adaptation processes for incoming Erasmus, Mevlana, or Farabi students.
Contribute to the orientation processes and provide support for cultural integration.
Monitor existing agreements with domestic (Farabi) and international (Erasmus/Mevlana) universities and propose new collaborations.
Maintain effective communication with the University’s International Relations Office and Farabi Institutional Coordinators.
Prepare grade conversion tables for courses taken by students upon returning from exchange programs, evaluate course equivalencies, and manage the equivalency process.
At the end of each semester, prepare reports on the number of outgoing and incoming students, partner universities, and types of mobility, and present them to the department administration and relevant university units.
Evaluate feedback from students and academic staff and develop suggestions for process improvements.
Propose strategies to disseminate successful practices and increase mobility rates.
