The Technical Visit Committee is responsible for organizing technical visits to help Computer Engineering students reinforce their theoretical knowledge, observe sectoral developments on-site, and increase their professional awareness. The committee aims to support students in visiting public and private sector institutions, gaining insight into organizational operations, witnessing technological applications firsthand, and shaping their career goals after graduation.
1. Planning and Organizing Technical Visits:
Identify public and private sector institutions that can contribute to students’ professional development and create a technical visit plan.
Schedule visits in accordance with the academic calendar and carry out the necessary official approval procedures.
Define the content of the visit programs, contact the relevant organizations, and ensure collaboration.
2. Student Participation and Information:
Announce technical visits in a timely manner and manage application and participation processes transparently.
Organize preliminary briefing meetings for students who will attend the visits.
Prepare participant lists and organize transportation and safety measures.
3. Communication and Stakeholder Management:
Conduct official correspondence with institutions and organizations to be visited.
Develop technical visit opportunities by collaborating with alumni working in related institutions.
Obtain feedback from visited organizations to maintain sustainable relationships.
4. Reporting and Evaluation:
Collect student feedback related to the visits and report the findings.
Prepare post-visit observation reports and archive them within the department.
Identify suggestions and areas for improvement for future visits.
5. Supporting Social and Academic Contribution:
Ensure that technical visits are related to course content and support students’ academic achievements.
Plan visits to also enhance student interaction and social cohesion.
Encourage students to share their experiences gained from visits through presentations, posters, or similar activities.
