Training on Preparing and Managing TÜBİTAK Projects for the Industrial Transfer of Research Projects” Held at Fırat University
As part of the TÜBİTAK 2237 Program and with the support of Fırat University’s Rectorate, the training event titled “Preparing and Managing TÜBİTAK Projects for the Industrial Transfer of Research Projects”, coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Karaköse, was held at the Fırat University Congress Center.
The event’s opening ceremony was attended by Fırat University Rector Prof. Dr. Kutbeddin Demirdağ, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Cebeci, Dean of the Faculty of Technology Prof. Dr. Z. Hakan Akpolat, Director of Fırat Teknokent TGB Prof. Dr. Erhan Akın, and other faculty members.
In his opening speech, Rector Prof. Dr. Kutbeddin Demirdağ highlighted the positive outcomes of the university's efforts to increase the number of research projects. He expressed his satisfaction with the recent approval of large-budget ARDEB and TEYDEB projects, emphasizing their significance for the university. Rector Demirdağ assured continued support for such initiatives and extended his gratitude to those involved in organizing the training event.
Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Cebeci pointed out that, unlike other training programs, this event focused specifically on industry-collaboration projects. He underlined the importance of increasing practice-oriented projects and commended the training’s contribution to achieving this goal.
During the three-day training program, 45 academicians were informed about TÜBİTAK’s industry project support programs, the preparation process for these projects, methods for transferring research topics to industry, and the roles academicians can play in industrial projects.
