The "Reaching and Accessing Turkey 2053 Universities' R&D Idea Competition": The project under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Mehmet KARAKÖSE ranked fourth in Turkey.

The project titled "Hyper-Satellite and Quantum Communication Supported Multimodal Logistics Network for Smart Transportation," under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Mehmet KARAKÖSE from the Department of Computer Engineering at Fırat University's Faculty of Engineering, with the participation of Çağatay Umut ÖĞDÜ, a fourth-year Computer Engineering student, was awarded an Honorable Mention and ranked fourth in Turkey at the "Reaching and Accessing Turkey 2053 Universities' R&D Idea Competition." The competition was organized by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, the Directorate of Transport, Maritime and Communication Research Center (UDHAM).
